Info: Mary Kom is a 2014 Indian biographical sports drama film directed by Omung Kumar and produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The film is based on the Five-time World Boxing Champion and Olympic bronze medallist Indian boxer Mary Kom. It depicts the journey of Kom from her childhood to winning the 2008 AIBA Women's World Boxing Championships in the Ningbo City. The story and screenplay written by Saiwyn Quadras, who suggested Kom's name Kumar for his directorial debut.
